Aku, also known as Skipjack, is a hard fighting, fast swimming, delicious tasting member of the tuna family. Their distinct stripes and iridescent shine make for beautiful wears. This skin was obtained by our HI friend, Shaun, who's always keeping an eye out for skins about to go overboard.

Salty Sisters Designs is a collaborative product of family, friends and fishermen all over the world. We offer sustainable jewelry using fish skin leather. Each piece is unique, and all fish are ethically caught, hand-cut, cured and designed. No two pieces are alike, and no fish is caught for the sole purpose of the skin.

Proper care will help preserve your resin jewelry for years to come. Resin is sensitive to scratching and oils. Protect your wears by allowing skin to dry of cosmetics and store hanging
